Frying Pan
Shred cos. Peel and cut red onion in half and slice. Cut tomato in half and slice. Dice pickles.
Tip! You can also cook the tacos on the BBQ.
Divide the mince equally between each tortilla. Press the beef onto the tortillas, you will have a thin layer of beef on each tortilla. Season with salt and pepper.
Tip! When you swap the chef selected protein; adjust the cooking times and method to ensure your protein is properly cooked and therefore safe to eat.
Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of oil on medium high heat. Add the tortillas, meat side down, and press down for a few seconds. Cook for 2 minutes meat side down and flip over, add cheese slice onto the cooked meat side and cook for about 1 minute until cheese has melted. These will cook quickly and can burn easily, so be sure to keep an eye on them.
Tip! You might have to cook these in batches. You can keep the cooked tacos warm in the oven, while you cook the rest.
Divide the smash burger tacos between plates. Spread burger sauce onto each taco and top with tomato, cos, red onion and pickles. Enjoy!
