Preheat the oven to 220°C. Cut the potatoes into 1cm thick sticks. Toss in oil and season with salt and pepper. Arrange in a single layer onto a lined baking tray. Roast for 18-20 minutes, or until brown and crisp, remembering to turn halfway.
Tip! When swapping the chef selected protein; adjust the cooking times and method to ensure your protein is properly cooked and therefore safe to eat.
Heat a pan on medium heat. Add the diced bacon and cook until brown, about 2-3 minutes. Set aside to cool.
In a bowl, mix together mince, burger spice mix, salt and pepper. Divide to form 4 equal thin patties. Break cheese slices into pieces and place into the middle of 2 patties, top with bacon. Top the loaded pattie with the plan patties and seal the edges (see pic).
Heat a pan on medium high heat with a drizzle of oil. Add the burger patties and cook for about 3 minutes each side, or until cooked through. While the patties are cooking, cut the burger buns in half. Toast the buns in the oven with the fries for 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
Slice the pickles and tomato. Spread burger sauce onto the top and bottom of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, burger patties and then pickles. Serve with fries on the side. Enjoy!
