Some say the original Caesar salad was invented in Chicago in 1903, some say it was a French-inspired Italian-American chef Caesar Cardini who invented the salad in Mexico in 1924! Either way this burger is quick, easy and full of the classic flavours you know and love in a Caesar salad! We've made this burger with a crunchy warm ciabatta roll, crisp and salty prosciutto, succulent grilled chicken, cos lettuce and parmesan cheese all topped off with a classic caesar dressing. From fridge to table in 20 minutes and absoutely delicous.

Get startedCook Prosciutto:
Preheat oven to 220°C. Line a baking tray with paper and lay the slices of proscuitto in a single layer. Cook until crispy, approx 8-10 minutes.
Cook Chicken:
Meanwhile, heat a pan on high heat. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle a little oil in the pan and fry the chicken on both sides until golden and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Set aside to rest.
Heat Buns:
Cut buns in half and place on a baking tray. Add burger buns to the oven for the final few minutes to crisp up and warm through.
You Plate It:
Slice chicken as preferred. Place chicken on the bottom of the bun, layer with cos, proscuitto and parmesan. Spread the dressing on the top bun and place on top of burger. Serve and enjoy!
